NOCATEE, Florida — St. Johns County regained the top statewide position in Florida’s district accountability reports, according to school grades released by the Florida Department of Education and reported by News4JAX.
The report said St. Johns County ranked No. 1 overall with 910 total points, while Nassau County ranked No. 2 with 892 points. Both districts received A grades.
In St. Johns County, the state report listed 44 district schools and two charter schools, for 46 total schools. News4JAX reported that 40 schools received A grades, five received B grades and one received a C.
The state’s A–F accountability system uses multiple measures to summarize school performance. The News4JAX report also included district and school-level lookup tools tied to the state’s accountability data.
