Wide receiver Jalen McMillan is active for Tampa Bay’s Week 2 matchup with the Cleveland Browns, clearing the way for his season debut after missing the Buccaneers’ opener against Cincinnati.
McMillan was listed as questionable on Friday but participated fully in Tampa Bay’s practices during the week. SI.com reported that he may not receive his usual workload, although he is available to play. The Buccaneers lost their first game of the season to the Bengals, 33-27.
McMillan missed most of the 2025 season after sustaining a neck injury during a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He returned near the end of that season and recorded 12 catches for 178 yards. In 2024, he caught eight touchdown passes.
The receiver was expected to have an important role in new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson’s plans, but a knee injury kept him out for part of training camp. He did not play in Week 1, and his appearance against Cleveland will be his first game of the current season.
Safety Miles Killebrew is also active after suffering a concussion against Cincinnati and appearing to complete the concussion protocol. Cornerback Jacob Parrish, who practiced on a limited basis throughout the week, is inactive after being considered a game-time decision. Benjamin Morrison will start in Parrish’s place.
