Construction is underway for UF Health Durbin Park, a major healthcare development in Nocatee, St. Johns County, Florida. The project includes a new hospital and an adjacent medical office building, both designed to serve the growing community in northeast Florida.

The hospital component will rise five stories and cover approximately 220,000 square feet. It will contain 99 inpatient beds and include a 24-hour emergency department. UF Health states the facility aims to provide advanced medicine and specialist care closer to local residents.

A separate three-story medical office building is also part of the campus. Spanning about 72,000 square feet, this structure will house various specialty services. The medical office building is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026, preceding the hospital.

The full hospital facility is set to open in the fall of 2026. UF Health describes the development as a commitment to future healthcare in the region. The health system notes it is an award-winning, not-for-profit organization and the largest provider of healthcare services in the area.

UF Health also highlighted its role as a member of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Medical Network, which provides elite athletes with access to specialized care. Patients can access medical records through the MyUFHealth portal or by calling (352) 594-0909. Information regarding billing, insurance, and cost estimates is available on the organization's website.

Aerial footage of the construction site has been shared to show progress on the project. The development represents a significant expansion of healthcare infrastructure in St. Johns County.

UF Health St. Johns employs about 1,564 people in Nocatee, according to local government records.
