The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.8130, while the national average is $3.8230. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 12 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.1320, drivers are paying about 69 cents more per gallon.
