HydroSeal Paver Sealing is offering professional maintenance for paver driveways, pool decks, patios and walkways in Jacksonville and surrounding Northeast Florida communities. The company serves residents in Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, St. Johns, St. Augustine, Yulee, Fleming Island, Orange Park and other Jacksonville-area neighborhoods.

The service aims to help homeowners prepare outdoor surfaces for the fall and holiday season. Florida pavers face year-round exposure to intense sunlight, rain, humidity, organic growth and regular traffic. These conditions can lead to fading, depleted joints, staining and deterioration of older sealer systems over time.

HydroSeal states that proper preparation is essential before applying new sealant. The process involves evaluating the condition of pavers, joint sand, drainage and existing coatings. Surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, and depleted joints are re-sanded using ASTM C144 kiln-dried joint sand where appropriate. A breathable sealing system designed for Florida conditions is then applied.

Different surfaces require different planning. Driveways endure vehicle traffic and sun exposure, while pool decks and screened lanais face splash-out, shade and humidity. HydroSeal evaluates each property to determine the necessary cleaning, sanding, drying and sealing approach. Homeowners with older sealed surfaces may need to have failed sealer removed before resealing.

The company also provides travertine sealing for natural-stone surfaces. HydroSeal notes that travertine should not receive the same coating as concrete pavers. Instead, a penetrating sealing approach is used after evaluating the stone.

Fall is a popular time for cleaning outdoor areas before Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Restoring joint sand and sealing eligible pavers can improve appearance and stabilize joints against Florida weather. HydroSeal recommends keeping foot traffic off freshly sealed pavers for about 24 hours, furniture off for 24 to 48 hours and vehicles off driveways for 48 to 72 hours, depending on project conditions and weather.

HydroSeal is Trident Master Certified and provides paver cleaning, joint sanding, sealing, travertine sealing, failed-sealer stripping and minor paver repair services throughout the Jacksonville area.
