Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $4.1396 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 14, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.1464 yesterday. That is up from $3.9013 a week ago but higher than $3.9333 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.1393, while the national average is $4.3163. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 21 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9439, drivers are paying about 120 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $6.3638 per gallon, AAA reported.
