The Miami Dolphins are signing linebacker Andre Jones Jr. from the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, as reported by sports.yahoo.com.
Jones is 27 and played college football at Louisiana-Lafayette from 2017 through 2022. He earned All-Sun Belt recognition once during his time with the Ragin’ Cajuns.
The Washington Commanders selected Jones in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with Washington before joining Buffalo in 2025.
Across 19 games over four seasons, Jones has recorded 10 tackles and three passes defensed. He has played primarily on special teams rather than defense.
