Mark Gronowski, a former quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, has signed with the Houston Texans practice squad. This move comes after the Dolphins made several changes to their quarterback lineup during training camp and preseason, indicating dissatisfaction with their backup options.

Gronowski, who went undrafted and played college football at Iowa and South Dakota State, was initially with the Dolphins for most of the offseason. However, he was waived during roster cuts, briefly signed to the practice squad, and then released again within a day.

In his preseason appearances with the Dolphins, Gronowski completed 46.2% of his passes for a total of 98 yards in games against the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons. With the Texans, he will serve as the third quarterback, positioned behind starters C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills.

Further details regarding Gronowski's role with the Texans have not yet been provided.
