The Jacksonville Jaguars have activated offensive tackle Cole Van Lanen from the physically unable to perform list. This decision comes after Van Lanen suffered a knee injury during the 2025 regular-season finale, which caused him to miss the playoff game against the Buffalo Bills and led to his placement on the PUP list at the start of training camp.
Van Lanen had recently signed a three-year contract extension worth $51 million, with $32.5 million guaranteed, to serve as the starting left tackle. However, it is currently unclear where he will fit into the team's lineup now that he has been cleared to return.
The Jaguars shifted starting right tackle Anton Harrison to the left tackle position earlier in training camp, and it appears he will remain there.
As a result, Van Lanen may compete for the starting right tackle position or take on the role of a backup swing tackle. Further details regarding his specific position in the lineup have not yet been provided.
