Miami Dolphins edge rusher Chop Robinson will not play in the team’s Week 2 game at the San Francisco 49ers, coach Jeff Hafley said.
The Dolphins are expected to use Josh Uche, Malik Herring and Robert Beal at edge rusher. Miami could also elevate veteran Clelin Ferrell or rookie Max Llewellyn from the practice squad.
The team recorded limited pass-rush production in its Week 1 loss and did not create much pressure on Kirk Cousins. Further details about Robinson’s injury were not provided.
