Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $4.3348 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 19, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.3589 yesterday. That is up from $4.1568 a week ago but higher than $3.9676 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.3171, while the national average is $4.4759. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 37 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.2038, drivers are paying about 113 cents more per gallon.
