The win improved the Rays’ record to 75-49, while the Orioles fell to 61-64.

The offense was fueled by six home runs and timely hitting. In the second inning, Mayo homered to left center to give the Rays an early 1-0 lead. Baltimore answered in the third when Díaz hit a home run to right center, tying the score at 1-1.
