The Rays’ starter, Shane McClanahan, worked 3.1 innings, allowing four hits and three earned runs, with no walks and three strikeouts. The bullpen played a pivotal role in the late innings.

For the Orioles, Yennier Cano took the loss, recording three hits and three earned runs without pitching a full inning. On the Tampa Bay side, Cam Booser earned the win, pitching 1.1 scoreless innings with two hits, one walk, and three strikeouts. Bryan Baker closed out the game, recording the save with 1.2 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out two batters.

The final score was 7-6 in favor of the Tampa Bay Rays.
