Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.9530 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 27, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9620 yesterday. That is up from $3.9180 a week ago but higher than $3.8250 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.9690, while the national average is $4.1100. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 13 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.1070, drivers are paying about 85 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.4680 per gallon, AAA reported.
