Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.8910 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 30, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9200 yesterday. That is up from $3.8770 a week ago but higher than $3.7890 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.9210, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 10 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.0380, drivers are paying about 85 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.4370 per gallon, AAA reported.
