Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.8700 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 30, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.8910 yesterday. That is down from $3.8820 a week ago and higher than $3.7670 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.9010, while the national average is $4.0980. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 10 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.0060, drivers are paying about 86 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.4190 per gallon, AAA reported.
