Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $4.1636 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 11, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.1653 yesterday. That is up from $3.9558 a week ago but higher than $3.8967 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $4.1551, while the national average is $4.2950. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying above the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 27 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.0135, drivers are paying about 115 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.9864 per gallon, AAA reported.
