The Jacksonville City Council has approved zoning for a significant expansion at Nocatee Town Center in St. Johns County. The development will feature several new tenants and services.

The Chophouse at Nocatee, a steakhouse with a rooftop bar, will anchor the new addition. Retail space will also be added by Skinner Bros. Realty and The PARC Group. This group has confirmed that Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop will open in the expansion. Additionally, toy retailer Safari Ltd. plans to launch its first store, named Toytopia, at the center.

Healthcare services are also expanding in the area. Baptist HealthPlace announced plans to open a health and wellness center by summer 2020. Baptist Health Properties Inc. has filed city plans for a standalone emergency room and a primary care center nearby.
