ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Florida — Florida's latest school accountability reports put two Northeast Florida districts at the top of the statewide rankings, with St. Johns County ranked No. 1 and Nassau County ranked No. 2 overall.
News4JAX reported that the Florida Department of Education released the accountability reports. St. Johns County regained the top statewide position with 910 total points, while Nassau County followed with 892 points.
St. Johns County received an A for 2026, the same grade it received in 2025. The district had 44 district schools and two charter schools in the report, for 46 total. Of those, 40 earned A grades, five earned B grades and one earned a C.
Duval County also received an A for 2026, matching its 2025 grade. The district had 134 district schools and 39 charter schools, for 173 total. The report listed 64 Duval schools with A grades, 37 with B grades, 64 with C grades, five with D grades and three listed as I.
