The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed wide receiver Matthew Henry as an undrafted free agent. This move was reported by Scott Smith of the team's official site on Tuesday.

Henry had a successful season in 2025, starting all 13 games for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, where he recorded 55 receptions for 888 yards and six touchdowns. His addition to the Buccaneers comes in response to injuries affecting several players, including Emeka Egbuka (toe), Jalen McMillan (knee), Tez Johnson (groin), and Dennis Houston (groin).

With the Buccaneers likely to rest their starters in the upcoming preseason finale against the Jaguars, Henry may have the opportunity to showcase his skills during the game. In a related move, the team placed rookie Deshawn McKnight on injured reserve, further opening the door for Henry's participation.
