Ben Sims has reverted to the injured reserve list of the Miami Dolphins due to an undisclosed injury, according to the NFL's transaction log.
Sims was waived/injured by the Dolphins on Monday and was not claimed by any other team, leading to his placement on IR. As a result, he will be sidelined for a minimum of four games.
There is a possibility that Sims may negotiate an injury settlement with the Dolphins before the fifth week of the season, which could allow him to join another team once he is healthy. In the previous season, Sims participated in 11 regular-season games, playing for both the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings, where he recorded three receptions for 30 yards on six targets.
