Quarterback Quinn Ewers has returned to practice with the Miami Dolphins after recovering from a groin injury. Ewers had been sidelined for more than a week following the injury he sustained during the team's preseason opener against the Washington Commanders on August 15.
The 23-year-old quarterback is viewed as the leading candidate for the Dolphins' No. 2 quarterback position behind Malik Willis. Ewers is expected to have an opportunity to further establish his role in the upcoming preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons on Friday.
Further details regarding Ewers' performance in practice and his readiness for the game are not yet clear.
