The Miami Dolphins have announced the re-signing of quarterback Mark Gronowski, who initially signed with the team as an undrafted free agent this year but was waived just over a week ago. In addition to Gronowski, the Dolphins have also signed linebacker Cam Riley.
Gronowski had a notable college career, playing four seasons at South Dakota State before transferring to Iowa last year. Throughout his college tenure, he started a total of 67 games.
Riley, who went undrafted from Florida State last year, previously spent time with the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Titans, although he did not participate in any regular season games.
In a separate roster move, the Dolphins placed offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer on injured reserve and waived cornerback Ethan Robinson with an injury designation.
