The Miami Dolphins held a workout session on Wednesday, featuring a group of players including wide receiver Brenden Rice, the son of NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.
Brenden Rice, 24, played college football at Colorado and USC, where he achieved All-Pac-12 honors. Over his college career, he participated in 39 games, recording 103 receptions for 1,674 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Rice was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers as a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He spent his rookie season with the Chargers and has also been with the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders, and Green Bay Packers in the past year. Despite appearing in three NFL games, he has not yet made a reception.
In addition to Rice, the Dolphins worked out several other players, including quarterbacks Kyron Drones and Chandler Rogers, wide receiver A.T. Perry, and linebackers Antonio Grier and Stephen Dix Jr.
