The Jacksonville Jaguars have made significant changes to their offensive line this offseason, retaining only Robert Hainsey at center. Anton Harrison has transitioned from right tackle to start at left tackle, while Cole Van Lanen, who recently returned to practice, has taken over at right tackle.

Ezra Cleveland has moved to right guard due to Patrick Mekari starting the season on injured reserve after a back procedure.

A standout of the offseason has been rookie Emmanuel Pregnon, who began training camp as a backup but quickly earned the starting left guard position after performing well in the first preseason game. He has received first-team repetitions over the last two weeks of camp and did not participate in the final two preseason games, suggesting he has secured his starting role.

During a press conference, James Gladstone commented on Pregnon's progress, noting that he has gained the trust of both teammates and coaches. Gladstone highlighted that Pregnon's skills and consistency have improved throughout training camp, with his weaknesses becoming less pronounced. He stated, "I think he's in a really good spot.

He has earned a lot of trust and equity from both teammates and coaches over the course of the offseason and training camp."

Gladstone also remarked on Pregnon's development, indicating that the rookie is well-positioned to contribute significantly to the team right from the start of the season. Further details regarding the overall impact of the offensive line changes and the team's performance are not yet clear.
