Following their preseason matchup against the Carolina Panthers, the Jacksonville Jaguars made two roster changes on Sunday. The team has signed defensive tackle Tommy Akingbesote and waived cornerback Devon Marshall with an injury designation.
Tommy Akingbesote, a seventh-round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2025, played college football at Maryland. He was on the practice squads of both the Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills during parts of the 2025 season but did not participate in any regular-season games.
During his time at Maryland, Akingbesote started 21 games and appeared in a total of 44, accumulating 77 tackles, including eight for a loss, and four sacks.
Devon Marshall was signed by the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie following the NFL Draft in April. The specifics of his injury have not been disclosed.
