The Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired offensive guard Daniel Faalele from the New York Giants in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Faalele signed a one-year contract with the Giants in April, joining the team under head coach John Harbaugh after his transition from the Baltimore Ravens. Following this trade, it is anticipated that Faalele will serve as a replacement for Patrick Mekari, who is currently recovering from back surgery.
A fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Faalele has participated in 66 regular-season games, starting in 35 of those appearances. Further details regarding the trade or its implications for the Jaguars have not yet been provided.
