Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman B.J. Green II will miss at least the team’s next four games after being placed on injured reserve because of an elbow injury. Green was hurt during Jacksonville’s season-opening 34-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns and left the game before it ended.
The roster move was made Wednesday. Jacksonville also promoted linebacker Jack Kiser from its practice squad to the active roster and added defensive end BJ Ojulari to the practice squad.
Green joined the Jaguars as an undrafted player after the 2025 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he appeared in 14 games and recorded 15 tackles and two sacks. He later earned a spot on Jacksonville’s initial 53-player roster after a strong training camp, according to the source.
With Green unavailable, Danny Striggow, Bryan Thomas Jr. and Wesley Williams are listed as depth options behind starting defensive linemen Josh Hines-Allen and Travon Walker. The source did not provide a specific timetable for Green’s return beyond the minimum injured-reserve absence.
