The Jacksonville Jaguars held a training camp practice on Sunday at the Miller Electric Center, featuring several notable developments. Both Parker Washington and Cole Van Lanen returned to practice, while Jakobi Meyers was absent.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 8 of 17 passes, and Nick Mullens completed 3 of 9. Running backs Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez each had five carries with Lawrence, while J'Mari Taylor had five carries with Mullens.
With Meyers sidelined, rookies CJ Williams and Josh Cameron are expected to receive additional opportunities in three-receiver sets. Both players have performed well throughout camp, and their different playing styles may allow them to make significant contributions if Meyers misses time.
J'Mari Taylor, an undrafted free agent, has made strides up the depth chart and is now competing ahead of some veterans. With LeQuint Allen also sidelined, Taylor could potentially secure a spot on the Jaguars' 53-man roster.
