Tampa Bay wide receiver Jalen McMillan was listed as a full participant in the Buccaneers’ Week 2 practice, improving the team’s receiving options after he missed the season opener. His return could also reduce opportunities for rookie receiver Ted Hurst.
McMillan was listed as doubtful before Tampa Bay’s first game and was inactive. With him available, the Buccaneers would have their three starting receivers, allowing McMillan to share targets with Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin.
Hurst made three catches for 36 yards on three targets while McMillan was out. The source said Hurst is likely to see less action against the Browns if McMillan is cleared to play, although Tampa Bay could limit McMillan’s workload as he returns.
McMillan had 37 receptions for 461 yards and eight touchdowns on 58 targets during his 2025 rookie season. He played as Tampa Bay’s third receiver behind Mike Evans and Godwin, who missed eight of the team’s first 10 games last year.
The Buccaneers’ injury report also listed cornerback Jacob Parish as limited in practice Wednesday. Parish’s limitation was described as precautionary, and he was expected to be ready unless he experienced a setback involving his back. Safety Miles Killebrew was the only other player listed as limited and remains in the concussion protocol.
