The Miami Dolphins completed the finalization of their 53-man roster on Sunday by waiving a total of 25 players, which includes 13 players waived on Sunday and 12 on Saturday. These players are now subject to waiver claims until 1 p.m. ET on Monday.
Players who clear waivers will be eligible to sign with any NFL team for either a spot on the 53-man roster or the practice squad, and some of those waived may return to the Dolphins.
Among the players waived are running back Jarquez Hunter, who was acquired from the Los Angeles Rams, and defensive tackle Fatorma Mulbah, who previously played with the Jets. Both players are noted for their potential value, with Hunter being a former fourth-round pick and Mulbah showing movement ability in the defensive line.
Other players likely to attract interest include cornerback Miles Battle, who has NFL experience and demonstrated playmaking skills during preseason, wide receiver Donaven McCulley, recognized for his size and catching ability, and safety Major Burns, who had a strong training camp after leading the UFL in interceptions.
