The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the process of reducing their roster ahead of the NFL's deadline to finalize a 53-man team. Currently, the Buccaneers have made 20 cuts, including notable players such as quarterbacks Jake Browning and Connor Bazelak, running back Barika Kpeenu, and several wide receivers including Dean Patterson, Eric Rivers, and Jha’Quan Jackson.

In addition to the offensive cuts, the team has also released several defensive players. This includes defensive linemen Jayson Jones, Josiah Green, and Travis Shaw, as well as outside linebacker Yasir Holmes and inside linebackers Nick Jackson and John Bullock. Safety Rashad Wisdom has also been waived, along with kicker B.T. Potter and long snapper Scott Daly.

The departure of Jake Browning is particularly significant as it opens the way for undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels to take on the role of backup quarterback behind Baker Mayfield. The Buccaneers are expected to make additional roster moves before the 6 p.m. ET deadline as they finalize their squad for the upcoming regular season.

As the roster cuts continue across the NFL, betting odds for the 2026 season are being updated, with the Buccaneers' odds for the Super Bowl currently set at +5000.
