During the 2025 preseason, Washington performed well, accumulating 116 receiving yards on 11 receptions, which earned him a spot on Miami's roster. However, his impact during the regular season was limited; he caught only one pass for 12 yards and fumbled on his first career catch.
Washington's tenure with the Dolphins came to an end after a lackluster performance in training camp and the preseason in 2026.
Despite being viewed as a valuable pick when drafted, Washington's inability to secure a consistent role with Miami led to his release. Now with the Eagles, he faces a competitive environment as the team prepares to finalize its roster.
