Rays Offense Explodes Early

The Tampa Bay Rays established immediate dominance on Tuesday, leveraging a powerful offensive display to rout the Toronto Blue Jays 12-2 at Rogers Centre. The visiting team capitalized on early scoring opportunities, building an insurmountable lead through a combination of timely hitting and defensive miscues by the home club.

Tampa Bay struck first in the opening inning. With runners in scoring position, DeLuca singled to right field, driving in Caminero and Mullins to make the score 2-0. The rally continued as Simpson singled to right, allowing DeLuca to cross the plate for a 3-0 advantage.

The Rays extended their lead significantly in the fourth inning. After Mullins stole third base, Díaz scored on a throwing error by Blue Jays catcher Valenzuela.
