Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.9010 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 15, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.7800 yesterday. That is up from $3.6850 a week ago but higher than $3.8050 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.8900, while the national average is $3.8900. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 10 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9270, drivers are paying about 97 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.1240 per gallon, AAA reported.
