Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.9450 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 18, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.9630 yesterday. That is up from $3.8470 a week ago but higher than $3.7040 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.9520, while the national average is $3.9920. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 24 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.1390, drivers are paying about 81 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.2560 per gallon, AAA reported.
