Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.8820 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 23, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.8770 yesterday. That is down from $3.9580 a week ago and higher than $3.6410 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.9360, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 24 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9860, drivers are paying about 90 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.2220 per gallon, AAA reported.
