Nocatee, Florida — Gas prices in the Jacksonville area averaged $3.9620 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 24, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.8820 yesterday. That is down from $3.9630 a week ago and higher than $3.8030 a month ago.
The statewide average in Florida stands at $3.9750, while the national average is $4.1050. Drivers in the Jacksonville area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The Jacksonville average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8830. Regular prices are about 16 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.0910, drivers are paying about 87 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the Jacksonville area averages $5.3100 per gallon, AAA reported.
