A New K-8 School Opens in Nocatee's Seabrook Area This Fall

A new K-8 school in Nocatee's Seabrook area is scheduled to open for the fall 2026 term.

A combined kindergarten through eighth grade campus is a common approach in fast growing master planned communities, because it lets a district add capacity across nine grade levels on one site rather than opening an elementary and a middle school separately.

For families already in Seabrook, the practical effect is a shorter commute and a single campus for siblings across a wider age range.

Town Center additions

On the commercial side, Salata, a build your own salad concept, is listed as coming to Nocatee Town Center. Turner Ace Hardware is scheduled to open in mid 2027 on a site south of the fire station.

Approaching build-out

Nocatee is in the late stages of its residential build-out. Community materials put the share of homes sold at about 96 percent, with fewer than 400 remaining.

That shifts what new construction means here. Additions now are largely commercial and civic rather than residential, and the longer term projects include The Hub at Nocatee, expected in 2028 with restaurants, retail and services.

St. Johns County families should confirm attendance zones with the school district, since boundaries are set by the district rather than by the developer.
