The Miami Dolphins placed inside linebacker Ronnie Harrison Jr. on injured reserve and signed inside linebacker Liam Anderson from the practice squad to the active roster. Miami also elevated edge players Clelin Ferrell and Max Llewellyn for Sunday’s game.
Anderson has played in four NFL games across two seasons with Indianapolis in 2023 and 2024. He also spent time on Cincinnati’s practice squad in 2025 after entering the league as an undrafted free agent with Indianapolis in 2023.
At Holy Cross, Anderson appeared in 53 games and started 30. He finished his college career with 231 tackles, 37.5 tackles for loss, 14.5 sacks, 11 passes defended, six interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. One of his interceptions was returned for a touchdown. He earned first-team All-Patriot League honors in 2021 and 2022.
Ferrell has 99 games and 57 starts over eight NFL seasons with Oakland and Las Vegas, San Francisco, Washington, the Los Angeles Chargers and Miami. His career totals include 181 tackles, 21 sacks, 12 passes defended, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He played in Miami’s Week 1 game at Las Vegas and recorded one special-teams tackle.
Ferrell was the fourth overall pick in the 2019 draft and played on Clemson’s 2016 and 2018 national championship teams.
Llewellyn was selected by Miami in the seventh round of the 2026 draft. During five seasons at Iowa, he played in 43 games, including 13 starts, and recorded 64 tackles, 14.5 sacks, 20.5 tackles for loss, 10 passes defended, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He received honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition in 2025.
